    EAM talks to Iran minister, seeks release of 17 Indian crew members of seized cargo ship

    Seventeen Indian crew members aboard a cargo vessel seized by Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps prompted Indian Foreign Minister S Jaishankar to engage with both Iranian and Israeli counterparts. Iran's retaliatory airstrikes on Israel, following the killing of an IRGC commander, led to discussions aimed at easing tensions and maintaining communication channels open between all parties involved.
